About Angela's Mission Trip 2023

I am excited to share with you that I will be doing a mission trip to Tanzania this summer! I will be partnering with friends from Community Church to help children in the village of Ntagatcha, Tanzania. We will be working with HopeCo (https://joinhopeco.com) from June 18-30th. Some of the work that we will be doing include: ● Teaching and building relationships with vulnerable and orphaned children – most of the children at The City of Hope have experienced the most awful abuse. Being able show love and compassion to these kids brings me great joy ● Organizing a week-long vacation bible school for children – The kids really look forward to this ● Work at the hospital they have that supports the Ntagatcha and surrounding villages – we hope to bring new bedsheets, pillow cases and other supplies that are needed ● Training primary and secondary school teachers – focus will be on sexual abuse to help better equip the teachers to council the students ● Teaching and providing materials for sports and crafts – why not have some fun at the same time!!! ● Helping HopeCo with current projects – currently they require bookcases and wardrobes (last year 10 desks were built for primary teachers who had never had a desk in the 15 years they have been there) We plan to take on any other projects hat come up while there. The goal is to be available and ready to help The City of Hope as much as we can in the time we are there. The total cost of the trip is $3,700, (Or more for our group raise of $78,000) which I need to raise by May 1st. My first milestone is coming up (March 1) which is to get $1,500 so we can book our flights. Currently I have been blessed with $985. I am hoping to raise the $515 needed before the due date. I would then only have a goal of $2,700. All money raised goes toward the mission. I know that I am not able to do it on my own. As you feel called, I would be blessed if you would consider supporting me prayerfully and/or financially. I have put together a PDF of some of the wonderful pictures of The City of Hope.
